We can't recommend Robert enough! He is so talented and he captured our wedding day so perfectly. Robert is so professional and his warm, relaxed nature made us feel so relaxed on the day, we barely even noticed ourselves being filmed. We couldn't believe the fine details that were captured. We were very lucky the weather was good meaning Robert could get amazing drone footage. Thank you, Robert for giving us videos that bring all of our wedding day memories right back.

I can't thank you enough for your work on these. Everyone we've sent them to so far has been blown away. They're so much more than just wedding videos - you really captured the emotions from the day and made all those memories into art. We particularly appreciate how much you included the Jewish traditions and the parts that featured our Rabbi in the Highlights and Cinematic feature. You definitely recognised how important he was to us and our day, and having him appear throughout these videos (rather than just be a background character as most officiants might be) means so much to us. We sent him the Cinematic feature, and he said it brought him to tears! These videos have completely surpassed our expectations, and we look forward to watching the rest of the full video. Also, everyone agreed that you were a super lovely person to have around on the actual day.

Robert is great on his communications too, which isn't always the case with all wedding suppliers, and as a stressy bride this puts you at ease having any questions answered.
Meeting him for the first time on our wedding day was no problem at all, he arrived in the morning and from then on we barely noticed he was there however the footage captured is amazing. He was very easygoing and got on and worked so well with our photographers.
Our guests couldn't believe how great the films were watching them back, especially as they hadn't noticed him with his camera all day. We even had comments that it looked like a movie trailer but it was all being captured in the moment and not staged in the slightest.
The sound quality is also amazing on the videos with those doing the speeches all having microphones discreetly fitted. Everything was to the highest standard and we couldn't be happier.
All in all, couldn't have asked for any more from a videographer and would highly recommend.”

“Martin and I cannot recommend MacDonald Studios enough! We opted for the Main Package with the addition of the Bridal Prep and are completely thrilled with the end result. After being recommended by a close friend, we were delighted after our first meeting with Robert and excited about what was to come. He spoke through all of our options and made us aware of some of the technicalities of getting married so close to Edinburgh airport and what this meant in terms of getting drone footage. This being something that Robert went out of his way to gain permission from Air Traffic Control to fly the drone for few moments which captured the most amazing aerial views of Carlowrie Castle and some great footage of Martin and his Groomsmen playing tennis the morning before the ceremony. On the day, Robert was so discrete that no guest felt imposed on, or were even aware they were being filmed which has resulted in him capturing amazing footage of the guests mingling at various points in the day, these times being moments that we missed and enjoyed looking back on. Our teaser trailer left us excited for the end product and the finished film is in a word phenomenal - I believe we are now into double figure viewings!! We are so delighted with style in which Robert has filmed our day and the way he has made our special day into a true love story.
