Jenna and Paul got married in front of Toftcombs Mansion near Biggar (ten minutes down the road from me). I sent them some quesitons about their day and here are their answers:

Can you give us a brief run down of your wedding day?:
We got married on the Isle of Arran, where I grew up, in the same church as my parents got married. We then kicked off the celebrations at the Douglas Hotel in Brodick with drinks on out on the patio, followed by dinner, dancing and some more partying until the early hours of the morning. We also managed to get all the Australians in Kilts which was amazing.

What do you remember most about your wedding day?:
The sun was shining and it was just amazing to have all our friends and family there with us to celebrate. Thank you Scotland for turning on the nice weather and showing the Aussie's how beautiful Arran is.

Why did you choose your wedding venue?:
It's a landmark hotel building on Arran that was refurbished a number of years ago by a new owner who grew up on Arran. Inside it's a lovely boutique hotel, small and special, with indoor and outdoor spaces to suit the weather.

What made you decide to have your wedding filmed?:
Having all our friends and family on the Isle of Arran in Scotland was such a one off, special event for us - we wanted to capture every moment and have a great film to look back on in years to come. Seeing Robert's work helped us decide pretty quickly too!
