Kim, her bridesmaids and her mum and dad started the day at the house that we’d only moved into a week before the wedding whilst Conor, his parents, best men and groomsmen got ready at Hotel Du Vin. The humanist ceremony conducted by Thirza Wilson, wedding breakfast and ceilidh with the magnificent Bahookie both all took place at Cottiers
Kim’s a sucker for a fairylights so this and the fact that it accommodated 140 guests was what firstly attracted us to it. It wasn’t, however, until we met the extremely patient, helpful and artistic wedding coordinator Erin that we were sold on Cottiers.
The thing we both remember is feeling strangely calm at the start of the service – finally everything was coming together.
We decided to have the wedding filmed so that we could look back on all the important parts of the day in years to come and also to see all the small details and interactions between our friends and family that we may have missed.
